Best I’ve seen yet So I tried upping the locked FPS to 50 in nvidia control panel, it tended not to like that as much reference stuttering. holding nicely at 40 FPS with almost no stutter, even with the basically Ultra settings you have in that video. I left the nvidia panel settings to restrict FPS at 40. So I set the Windows res back to 1920X1080, and left the ingame resolution set at 2550X1440. Can’t seem to change that, so I decided to change Windows desktop Resoltuion, which I had set at 1600x900 (which is just the way I normally use and view the PC on it, in general the games take over). So looking at your A320 video, I set all my in game settings the same, and based on the mention I looked to check the HD TV I am using. I uploaded it in 4k so hopefully Youtube processes it higher than 1080p. Used a different angle at the end which I thought looked cool.Ī320 Dev Mode 4k Sydney Landing Challenge GPU is maxed out but game is still very playable. I had to turn sliders to High-Medium for stutters to be gone.

Here is another video with rendering at 100.

I also forgot to mention this is a fresh install and I used Nick’N Fsx Guide to optimize my PC after installation of FS2020.ĭ: drive (SSD) - Manual/Rolling cache folder Also notice when I moved to the co-pilot’s seat, there was a 12 second stutter and CPU went up to 100% (must be data loading?). Video is not edited so you can fast forward during the loading part. Video taken using my iphone but this time it’s on a tripod. This time I’m using the Sydney landing challenge as test bed. Just added a video request in Development mode (CPU/GPU usage window included). I was holding my iphone while recording my tv. I’ll take a better video later, but here’s what I took last night after I was blown away. Rendered at 50 : cpu 54-62% all cores gpu 55-68% Using a 4k tv my pc usage are as follows: After that, I locked Vsync to 60 and voila! Smooth as silk simulation even with the A320 but dev mode showing fps at 30. Using the graphic settings I have read in this forum, turned on the dev mode and I fiddled with the settings until I’m getting 65-75 fps sitting on the runway, default view (with occasional microstutters). So, l loaded up the Solo Pattern Practice mode in a Cessna 152.
